Overview
The University of Worcester was originally founded as a Teacher Training College in 1946, before being granted full university status in 2005. It is currently one of the fastest-growing universities in the UK and more than 10,000 undergraduate, postgraduate and part-time students are enrolled.
University of Worcester graduates continue to enjoy great employability prospects, with 15 out of 16 currently in work or continuing to study within six months of graduating. Worcester continues to excel in the subjects of Nursing and Midwifery, Psychology, Teacher Education and Sports Science, which recently benefitted from a newly opened 2,000-seat stadium.

Accommodation
All first-year undergraduates are guaranteed accommodation in Halls of Residence at Worcester University, provided they meet the supplied deadline. Over 1,000 beds are available and are self-catered with internet access. The bulk of accommodation is on campus and the friendly Accommodation Team are always on hand to provide advice and support throughout your stay.

The University of Worcester is located in central Worcester, just a short walk from the train and bus stations. The city is one of the UK’s oldest, steeped in history and culture.
