Bath Academy is a private college and was founded in 1997. International students benefit from small class sizes and can choose to study GCSE, A-level or the renowned University Foundation Programme.
The University Foundation Programme has come to be established as one of the oldest and most well respected foundation courses in the UK, providing an entry level qualification for undergraduate study accepted by over 95 UK universities. The course is designed for international students who have completed high school and acts a bridging and entry level course for those who wish to go on to undergraduate study at a UK university.
Unlike the two year A-Level course, the UFP is completed over one year and currently has two intakes: September – June or January – August of the same year. Both intakes however allow the student to apply to start university the following academic year. Over the last two years alone, alumni students have progressed on to studying a wide variety of competitive courses at universities such as Bristol, Manchester, LSE, SOAS, Imperial College London, University College London, City, Queen Mary and King’s College London.
Bath is located in the south-west of England and is known as one of the UK’s most beautiful cities, in addition to being a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
