Overview

Cork Institute of Technology offers full-time, part-time and specialist courses in Art, Business and Humanities, Computing and Information Technology, Engineering, Media, Music, Nautical Studies, and Science. The Institute also has many top class facilities including its award-winning Library & IT Building and its world class laboratories.

Services for International Students

CIT’s International Student Society actively helps connect the international students with others and facilitate an overall fulfilling experience. There is an active Students’ Union, and the clubs and societies are some of the best in Ireland. Sports facilities such as sports hall, gym, and an athletics track and tennis court are available.

The Student Centre at Bishopstown provides services such as a common room, supermarkets, restaurants and banks. There is also an award winning library and information technology centre with vast resources available.

Accommodation

Accommodation for CIT students is available off campus and the University accommodation office can assist students in finding a place. Apartment complexes are located adjacent to the campus.

CIT is located 10km from Cork airport and lies in the South-West of Ireland, in the Munster province. It is the third most populated city in Ireland.
