Overview
The Royal College of Art is the world’s only wholly postgraduate art and design institution, offering MA, MPhil and PhD degrees. The College is housed in a number of sites in South Kensington and Battersea, including the Darwin Building at Kensington Gore, and Stevens Building nearby in Jay Mews.
There are six schools at the Royal College of Art in architecture, communication, design, fine art, humanities, and materials, offering 24 different programmes.
Services for International Students
A free airport pick-up service for international and EU students from Heathrow takes place in September and a number of orientation and social events also take place to help you integrate into the area and College. International Student Support will also assist in opening bank accounts, healthcare, housing and applying for a student visa.

The Royal College of Art was ranked first on a list of master's courses in fashion by Business of Fashion, a fashion website. Following the 2014 Research Excellence Framework, the College consolidated its position as the premier art and design institution in the UK. 77% of submitted research was classed as ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’, a 12-point increase on the 2008 results.
